I never thought that I would be on my last week...
HECK!!!! FAM!!!
Well this will be the last letter that I will write to you all. Next Monday I don’t think I’ll even bother writing because the very next day I’ll be talking with you all on the phone and later we will be eating In and Out. lol I really don’t even know what to think about all this. I truly never thought that I would get to this point. I never thought that I would be on my last week. And to tell you the truth it’s super scary. Sounds cool what’s going on back at home and I am excited, but I just don’t know. This last week went by in the blink of an eye and now I know this week will be even faster. This week that passed wasn’t really that interesting. We didn’t have any baptisms, but we did teach a lot of lessons and we also put some baptism dates for this Sat. If things go good we will have 3 baptisms this Sat to finish strong. 2 of them are more sure than the other one, but I believe we can do it and I want to finish strong. There is not much that I can tell you guys about. I am way freaked out that everyone is going to think that I am way weird!! lol I am not too sure why I think that but I can’t help but not to. But the good thing is I really don’t care. If I’m crazy everyone will just have to like me for who I am. lol no everything should be good. Oh before I forget mom, so the people we are going to get baptized this week names are Delia, Paul, y Patricio. So if you could pray for them that would be really helpful. They really need the family’s prayers. Ok well I really don’t know what else to tell you about. The people here and also the missionaries won’t stop telling me how many days until I go home and that is kind of annoying. I can’t work one single day without someone saying "Wow Elder Keables you are dying" or “wow only one more week or 8 days”.. Its soooooo annoying lol but I am getting used to it, and I only have to put up with it for only one more week too. lol so that’s what’s going on here. I’ll be sure to tell you all about this when I am home. I will answer your questions and stuff like that. Well I am going to cut this letter short because I am going to buy some more stuff. So I’ll see you all next week and I love you all and am looking forward to seeing you all!!!

I am happy and there is nothing that stands in my way...
Hi Fam!!!
FREAK!!!! lol I know you don’t like that word mom, but it’s the only one that comes to my mind right about now. lol el fin se acerca y hay poco tiempo. lol that’s a name of a song in Spanish. Man I don’t even know what to think about. It sounds like everyone is getting back home and things are returning to normal. I imagine it is going to be crazy when I get home with everyone there. It will be different to have all the fam together once again. It’s been soo long. So that’s cool that Jordan’s homes. Tell him I say hi. So they only made it 30 miles. I knew they couldn’t do it without me.lol Tell them to keep practicing and before you know it they will be able to walk long distances like me and carry big burdens. lol tell Ryan that I knew he wasn’t going to make all 50 miles because I have never seen a ballerina walk so far. lol he should get a kick out of that. lol Mom so thanks for the money. That will surely enough to buy the things that I want to buy. And I’ll get stuff for Brandon and Natalie, also. I already have some ideas about some stuff I want to get for you and Dad. I’ll get him a shirt for sure. Oh so to answer your question yes, this last week on Tuesday I got the package. Thanks so much!! I really enjoyed the cereal and the candy bars. Oh the Tiger Milk bar that was like heaven on earth. lol I’ts been so long. lol Thanks for the package!!! Oh and I can’t believe how many people have gotten married!!! Brooke Brown with Lyle, I have know idea how to write his name lol. but Crazy!!! The package was super great and super smashed also. lol that’s one thing that I forgot to say. So I guess on the way to Cuenca or better said leaving the office, the package fell out of the car and I think like 10 cars ran over the package before they were able to save it. Not only my package but all the stuff for all the elders. lol so I wasn’t the only one. But ya all the pics had Lucky Charms stuck to them along with the talk. The lady bugs were smashed and the wheels were up into the shell so they definitely didn’t race nor move. lol the invitations were very nice and the Lucky Charms added a very charming change I might say. lol the Tigers Milk bar was coming out of its package. But the thing is, that is nothing to stop a missionary from enjoying his birthday present. lol half the bag of Luckys were still there so I really enjoyed that. And Tiger Milk bar and Fastbreak, tasted SO MUCH BETTER SMASHED. lol No really thanks so much for the package. I still enjoyed it so much. And I couldn’t do anything more than laugh when I got my package. I am at the point where I just don’t care. I am happy and there is nothing that stands in my way. ok so to tell you why I am happy. Well like you can see in the pics that I am sending, we had another baptism this week. And let me tell you it was a miracle that we had the baptism. I would love to write you and tell you everything but I am really lazy and I would rather tell you all in two weeks. But pretty much to make a long story short, she didn’t want to get baptized and neither did her daughter. But on Sat at 11 we went and talked to her, we invited her to pray and read in the Book of Mormon. She promised she would lock herself in her room and read and pray. We told her that we would return at 4 to see what her answer was about the church and baptism. The thing is she was super Catholic and believed a lot in the Virgin, but the Book of Mormon changes lives. For that reason it was written. I shared the last 3 verses of Moroni 7. I think that’s where it’s at. But ya. At 4 we returned with the zone leader so he could do the interview. When we got there she had received her answer and she was soooo happy. She had actually left when we got there to cut her hair and do her nails for the baptism. lol she was soo happy and it was such a change because when we went in the morning the first time she was so depressed. She was actually crying before we had gotten there. But ya she got baptized Sunday at 8 in the morning and it was an amazing baptism. Now for this week we have to work with the daughter, Gabriela. But ya that was my week. It was a good one. Well I am getting pretty tired of writing and I am sure you are all getting tired so I’ll do us both a favor and stop. lol I just want you all to know that I love you all and miss you all. Look forward to hearing from you next week and seeing you all in 2 weeks. Much love!!! Have a great week!!!

Really I almost started crying...
Oye Fam!!!
Hey congrats on the 35 miles!! That’s way far.. ok so I got some pretty cool stuff today but I almost spent all my money. I just got stuff for you guys. I was thinking about it and after today I will only have 2 more p-days to be able to buy stuff and do the things that I need and want to do. But I am sure that the things that I got everyone will enjoy sooo much. Well that’s enough talking about money and things. Ok so guess what?? We had a baptism this week. The hermana Carmen got baptized on Tuesday. Everything turned out just great. The baptism service was really amazing. The mom of Carmen she has about 6 months in as a member shared her testimony and it was sooo powerful. Really I almost started crying. It was really cool to see the fam so happy. Carmen is the daughter of my first convert here in Cuenca. We are working with the other two kids in the fam. Hopefully they will get baptized before I go. I will add pics of the baptism in this letter. Also this week we are going to have 2 more baptisms. Their names are Gloria and Gabriela. It’s a mother and the daughter. They are doing really good and I am pretty sure that they will get baptized. But they are in our prayers. So if you can pray for them both that would be just perfect. We are just working away here. I am still with my comp. Last Sunday we had changes but me and my comp are still together so I imagine that my comp is going to kill me. lol that’s what they say when a missionary sends another missionary home. lol like my comp might do. lol but I am fine with it because elder Garcia is really a nice guy and I get along with him really good. well I really don’t know what else to write about, I mean I can sit here and write about how scared I really am to go home and how time is going buy way fast but I would rather not. I try not to think about it. lol its does scare me, but I am doing good. I want to have another 6 baptisms before I go home so I am just going to focus on that and nothing more. lol I am way excited to see you all. I miss you all very much and look forward to seeing you. I hope you all have a great week. Please pray a lot for Gloria and Gabriela. I love you all very much and I look forward to hearing from you the next week. Oh and one more thing tell Tyler happy b-day for me. 25 years old or 26 not really sure. lol oh one more question mom so what should I do with the mountain of pic that I have of the fam? Should I throw them out or bring them home. I believe that you have all those pics in the computer, or somewhere, but ya I don’t know what to do with them all. I love you all!!! Until next week…

So I am officially 21 years old...
My Fam!!!
Hey what’s new? How are things going this fine Monday?? I hope you guys are doing great. By the sound of things everything seems to be going good back at home. So I am officially 21 years old. lol I am getting old. lol Actually I had a really nice b-day. Me and my companion bought some pizza by our house and it was actually really good. Also the sisters in the zone knew that it was my birthday so they stayed up late and made me and my comp a cake. My comp had his birthday in May so they made him a cake also and everyone in the zone sang happy birthday and we all had cake. And let me tell you the cake was soooo good. Really the cakes that they make here in Ecuador are not that good at all. But the cake that the sisters made was the bomb. Mostly because they are both greengas. lol so they know what good cake should taste like. lol so we didn’t have the baptism that we were planning on have but we are going to have a baptism tomorrow. We are really excited about that. If everything turns out good we will have baptisms for every week this month. We are just working away all time also!!! lol ok so I saw Elder Storm this week for the last time here in the mish I think. We had to go to Machala for a conference and Cody was there with his comp. He seems to be doing really well and he is speaking Spanish a lot better now. I also got to see a few other mish buds so that was really cool. There are so many cool elders from California. That must be saying something!! lol but ya I am putting some of my favorite pics on right now to send them to you. I hope you enjoy them. ok so I did get the flight plans. Actually they sent them to me on Tuesday but they said on the 16th of August. They were the first flight planes, they told me that they would be sending the updated ones in this week but I still haven’t gotten them. But it’s cool that you were able to receive them and now you guys know what’s going on. So I guess I’ll be released on the 10th of August in the morning because I’ll be getting home really late. ok so I was thinking, I mean it’s just an idea, really I have been thinking about it a lot, just a little bit. lol so that very night I get home I would love you have one thing. Maybe we as a fam could go get some In and Out Burger, or if that kills plans maybe you could just have a really big hamburger waiting for me when I get off the plane. lol it’s just an idea. lol I am mostly just playing. lol but yes that would be really cool!!! lol if it’s too much of a bother don’t worry about it, I am sure I’ll be eating it later after I get home. lol well i gottta say that it’s getting really close. Time is going by soooo oooooo fast. I mean I go home in only 4 weeks- that is nothing. I really don’t know what to think about that!!! It scares me every day just a little bit more. lol anyway I try not to think about it. lol well I really can’t think about anything else to tell you guys about. Tonight the hermana Carmin will have her interview for her baptism so if you can pray for her I would really appreciate it. I want you all to know that I love you all very much and I’m thinking about you all very much. Won’t be long and we will all be back together. Love you pray for you and miss you all!!!

I just have one more thing that I wanted to add before I go. Ok so this week in church they were talking about dad and son communication and how that is so important. While they were talking about that I remembered the time me and dad were going to one of my basketball games or tournaments and dad was asking me all sorts of questions. I remember that I texted you and asked if you could ask dad to shut up!! lol that was really a bad move on my part. On Sunday I remembered that and I thought of how lucky I really am to have a father so amazing. Dad I want to thank you for all the support that you have given me during all these years. I am sooo lucky to have a father like you. All the trips you took us on, all the time you went to my bball games, even when they were far away. Really I hope I can be the father for my kids like you were for me!!!! Dad I love you!!! Mom I don’t even need to tell you this because I am sure you already know this, but you are the maximam… you are amazing and I also am so thankful for everything you do!! I couldn’t be more blessed. I love you both.

Hey happy 4th of July!!!
What up Fam!!!
Hey happy 4th of July!!! That’s so crazy that we are in July. It seems hard for me to believe that because it’s been raining all day today!!" Really I am going to be going home in august and I’ll by dying because it’s going to be so hot there. lol and I thought that it would be the other way around. lol ok I just sent some more pics. There is one of me and a clown which would be my convert. lol he is soo cool. Sometimes it’s funny because we teach him right when he is getting off of work. lol It’s kind of weird teaching a clown about the gospel. lol Tell Mom don’t worry every day I am praying for Whitney so that she will be able to make the trip. I am praying or the baby boys and for her. Well for the whole family,. That is crazy that dad is part of the bishopric. That will be a little different for me. lol but I imagine that he is doing really well. ok I really can’t stop saying it but time is going by sooo fast. Sometimes I don’t want time to go by so fast. I feel like I don’t have time to do anything. It’s like something that is always there and always bothering me.lol in some ways I don’t want to go home but in other ways I know it’s time but it just scares me a little. I just try not to think about it. lol ok so what can I tell you about? Well this week we are planning on having a baptism on Thursday but the family needs your prayers. Actually the kid who is going to get baptized is name is Ariel so if you guys can pray for him and for the fam. They are going though some hard things right now and need a lot of help. The next week we are hoping to have another baptism on Wednesday or Tuesday. The gir’ls name is Carmin. She really wants to get baptized so I think she will be good. But she also needs your prayers. She will be having a baby and she is expecting the baby on the 16 of this month. We are hoping that she can get baptized before she has the baby. Because if not she will have to wait for another month to get baptized. The week after next week we are hoping to have 2 more baptisms. And the week after that week, 2 more. We really have so many good people in our program all we need to do is work hard with them and we need your prayers a lot. Really I would love to finish my last month in the mish with 5 ot 6 baptisms. Just pray that I don’t get changed and that these people can make this big step of faith and be baptized in the church of Jesus Christ. That’s what we are hoping for and I really feel like we can do it. But we need this baptism in this week so lots of prayers for Ariel. Anyway that’s how we are doing in the Lord’s work. Just working away.lol today we spent like 4 hours helping this lady and her daughter move from their house to the house of a member. This family is the one that we are hoping will get baptized the third week of this month. Now I am writing you and after this we are going to go buy food and rest before going out to work. One of the missionaries in my zone Elder Gaitan is going home next week. lol I spent all day bugging him about it. lol its crazy because after him it’s me and my group of missionaries. Although I’ll be going home by myself I think. But it’s cool. Well that’s pretty much all I can think about. I still have to write pres so I’ll be letting you go. I love you all and miss you all very much. I hope you all have a great 4th of July and that you enjoy the firework show. Also have a great week. I’ll be writing you the next week. I am going to be 21 years old. Dang boy that is old. lol I love you all!!

I think there is no other place in the world that I would like to be to turn 21 then Ecuador serving the Lord in his work..
Hey fam!!!
Well I don’t have much more to say because I already talked with mom on Tuesday so I’ll just see you all in 6 weeks. Much love!!!
Just playin. OK so Mom, Jordan I just want to say happy birthday!!! I am sorry that I forgot to write it last week it’s just that I am so lost with the things that are going on back at home. lol I hope you guys had the best birthdays ever!! I’ll be buying you guys some sweet stuff here pretty soon. So I can’t believe that June is pretty much over and July is well on its way. I can’t believe that I’ll be turning 21 in two weeks. lol I can do whatever I want. lol just playin. I think there is no other place in the world that I would like to be to turn 21 then Ecuador serving the Lord in his work. Ok so Jordan is coming home to visit- that is cool. Man, dad really you are making me trunky. Talking about fishing, camping and all the things that I love most in life. lol but it’s cool because I am doing a pretty good job staying focused in the work. With President Montalti it’s hard to even think about home. He is always changing things and helping us to have more success. But no I am doing good. I can proudly say to Jordan that I am getting up every morning on time and still working my heart out. We were going to have a baptism this week that we are in but we changed it because we have a conference this week and all the old missionaries have to go to Michala. So we are going to wait for the next week and it’s possible that we have 2 baptisms. We are working our hardest and hoping to have at the least 3 baptisms. I think we can get 4 or 5 but we will have to see. Hey you know what today I was reading the scriptures in my studies this morning and I found a scripture that I really liked. I mean it just applies perfectly to my life. I just felt like it talked to me or better said that it was written for me. Here this is the scripture. ( 17 Yea, verily, verily I say unto you, if all men had been, and were, and ever would be, like unto Elder Keables behold, the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever, yea the , the devil would never have power over the hearts of the children of men. 18 Behold, he is a man like unto Ammon, the son of Mosiah, yea and even the other sons of Mosiah yea, and also Alma and his sons, for they were all men of God, like unto Elder Keables ) lol it totally applies to my life. lol Even says my name there. lol Alma 47:17 18. lol lol I think that’s something that I have learned here in the mission is to apply the scriptures to my own life. lol it was so funny I called up the elders in the district and told them that I had a scripture that I wanted to share with them to motivate them in the work. I had them put in on speaker phone so that all 4 of them could hear it lol it was really funny. They enjoyed it a lot. After that I did the same with the sisters lol. The mish is the best. Anyway I think we are going to be taking off. If I have more time later I’ll write some more. I love you all and miss you all. I hope you have a great week and don’t get too trunky fam. lol I love you all.
From, Elder Keables
“We can help you with that”...
Good Afternoon!!!
Ok mom so I talked to the zone leader and he said that if I bug them about it then they have to do it. So I guess I’ll just have to do it. I think that everyone should be go with it. I think the only one who might not like it is President Montalti but we will see. I’ll be talking with them tonight and if I can I’ll write you something small tomorrow. But I’ll let them know that the 16th is just too late for school and for everything. Ok so what can I tell you all about? Really it gets harder and harder to write you guys something every week. It’s hard for me to think of what to write and I just get tired of writing. lol but ya so we are going today to Guayaquil to go to the temple just me and my comp. I guess that’s the good thing about training new missionaries. lol because I always get to go to the temple. lol Hey so not this week but the next week we will be having another baptism. So on Thursday me and my comp were walking in our sector when a couple called us over. They told us that they were members from Guayaquil and that they got baptized in the year 2001. They said they have been living 4 years in Cuenca but have only gone to church just a few times. And the best part is they said they wanted us to visit them because they wanted to go back to church again and that their son who has 9 years wants to get baptized. lol so me being a very wise and smart missionary said to them, “We can help you with that”. lol and so that night we visited them and on Sunday they went to church. This week we are going to teach the son the lessons and we are also going to have a family home evening at the house of the bishop. Also I think that on Wednesday of this week we are going to teach some guy whose name is Matias. He is from Germany and we are going to see if we can put a date. It’s going to be so weird because I have never taught a lesson in English and this I will have to teach by myself because my comp doesn’t know any. lol it’s going to be really interesting. But ya we are just killing it here in Cuenca. I really am just loving it. Sometimes it’s hard but I feel because we have been so obedient and also we have worked so hard that the Lord really blesses us for our hard work. We only have 3 more weeks in this change and I am hoping that we can have 2 more baptisms or three. But we will have to work really hard and trust in the Lord. I believe we can do it and I know that the Lord can make in possible. It just depends on the people we teach and our effort. Well I can’t think of that much more to tell you guys about. Hey mom when you receive the CD of all the pics can you tell me so I can erase the pics on my camera. Well I want you all to know that I love you and miss you very much. It won’t be long and we will be back together. I hope you have the best week and that everything goes the way you want it to. I love you all and miss you all.

it’s what brings the most joy and happiness to the life of a missionary...
Hi Family!!!
Happy Monday!!!! Wow that last letter that you sent me was kind of a surprise. I can’t believe that Justin joined the marines. Since when did that become something that he wanted to do? That is just soo hard for me to believe. Also, that Russell is home already. Man time sure does go by way fast. Also, Michael Mohr is coming home, Zeke Wright and also Michael Watts. It’s just so crazy that all those guys are in the same shoes that I am in. I imagine they are so scared just like me. lol It’s going to be weird to see them all again, because it’s been just so much time. So Tori is still engaged to that guy? I also find that so hard to believe. Sounds like not much has changed with the family since the last time that I wrote. It just sounds like things are moving right along. Actually, it almost sounds a little bit boring at home with only Janae, Melissa and Ryan there. But don’t worry, when I get home things well be back to their norm lol. Actually things are going to be even more crazy because the whole fam will be there right?. It’s going to be crazy having all the family in one place after so much time. lol ok so to tell you guys a little bit about my week. Well it was good. lol We had a baptism on Saturday and the confirmation on Sunday. My companion was able to baptize him so he really enjoyed that. I think I already told you who it was but if I didn’t his name is José Luis Chavez. Really the baptism turned out really well. Jose Luis isn’t a person of a lot of words but at the end he shared his testimony with everyone and it was actually really strong!! Maybe a little short but really good. It was also nice to have that baptism because it helps me get motivated to have as many as I can before going home because it really is the very best about the mission and it’s what brings the most joy and happiness the life of a missionary. And of course it was my companion’s first baptism and he now knows what it feels like to be able to baptize a person in the Church of Jesus Christ. At the end of this letter I put two pics of the baptism so that you guys can see. Also some pics that I took today and last week because I didn’t have time to write last week. Oh hey mom right before writing I put all my pics on a CD and sent them off, so you should get them next week or so. I hope they get there soon. Hey mom do you think you can put some money on my card before next week so I can start buying some stuff. I want to make sure I have time to get all the stuff I want to get you all. But then again it’s not that important so if you can’t do it right now don’t worry about it. ok what else can I tell you all about? So it’s funny, in my sector there are a few returned missionaries. Every time they see me they ask me how much time do I have until I go home. lol they love bothering me about that. lol the good thing is that it’s pretty easy for me not to think about home and everything. Pretty much on p-day is when I have time to think about it. lol just reading your letters makes me trucky lol just playin. I am good. Well I don’t have much to tell you about concerning investigators. We are still looking for more people to teach. We have one person with a date right now and we are going to put more. I’ll be giving you an update the next week. Well fam I think I am going to let you all go. I love you all and hope you have a great week. Enjoy your summer!! I love you all and miss you all.
Lots of love,

I am doing soooo goood...
June 6, 2011
Hey Fam!!!
ok so sorry I didn’t write you yesterday. We had a meeting and had to go to Guayaquil. Mom, I will try getting all the pictures out by next p-day. Ok so I don’t have much time. I just wanted to tell you guys that I am doing soooo goood. I hope you all are great also. This Saturday we are going to have a baptism, so we are really excited about that. I’ll tell you all about it the next week and send some more pics. Hey I love you all and miss you all. Sorry I can’t write much, but the work must go on. lol I’ll be sure to write the next week. I love you all!!! Oh and I didn’t get transferred, which I am fine with!!!

Christ lives and this is his church and I am a missionary of his church!! What more could I ask for?
May 30, 2011
Fam!!!!
Tonight we have transfers so we still don’t know what is going to happen. I hope that I don’t have changes, but if I do then it’s cool- I’ll just have to live with that. lol well I am doing great. It’s been another good week. A little hard because we didn’t have the baptism that we planned on. But the good thing is that we have a baptism on the 11th that is sure. His name is Jose Luis, he is the boyfriend of a member. So we are excited for that. Wow! There are so many things that are changing back at home. I can’t believe that Brooke Brown is married and also that Jamie T is also getting married. What is going on with the people back at home? They are all going crazy. Russell gets back only in 10 days? That is also way crazy. I really can’t believe what I am hearing. So little old Julia is now graduated, that also is really hard for me to believe. lol Really Braxton and Emily too? In the pics they still look so little and graduation is for big people. lol Now that I am getting closer to home, things are really starting to change. lol Dang so why didn’t Janae tell him that she was my sister? Oscar is the man! I love that guy. I sure hope that when he was talking about me he was only saying good things. lol just playin. Hey question?? Is Oscar playing football for Butte?? I know that he was planning on playing there before I left, but I haven’t heard anything since the day I left about that guy. Ok so mom I still haven’t gotten my flight papers but when I do you will be the first one to know. The only thing I know is that I am supposed to go home the 9th of August, but I still don’t know how I feel about that. lol ok so to tell you all about what’s going on in my life. First today we went to play Frisbee again at the park and it was raining all night so we played in the mud and it was sooo sweet. Oh other thing is that Elder Smith my second son… Well during this last week he got changed to Cuenca and now is in my district! lol today he was there to play with us and I had forgotten how much of a beast that guy really is! He is awesome! lol But yah it’s cool to see how well he is doing later in the mission. I also got to see my first son at the conference that we had with Elder Gonzalez. Yah, Richard G. Scott couldn’t make it so we listen to Elder Gonzalez. So that was cool. That man is soooooo powerful. He knows the scriptures like no one. Really it motivated me so much to just keep working and to study more in the scriptures, or better said, memorize them. He was way powerful. Ok so what more can I tell you all about? I love the mission. Really I am enjoying every minute. This sector is a little hard. I mean it was easier in the beginning but now we are struggling just a little bit. I mean we do have Jose Luis that will be getting baptized really soon, but the thing is after his baptism he will be member and that means that we have to keep working and keep looking for new people. It’s hard but I know that we will have success and the Lord will guide us in this work. We just need to trust in him and be obedient. Really I am trying as hard as I can to not think of home and be as obedient as I possibly can. Sometimes it’s a little hard, but I can do it. Well, to tell you the truth I can’t think of anything more to say so I just would like to finish with my testimony. I want you all to know that I love this work. I love the Church. I realized that before the mission I really didn’t have a testimony and I really didn’t know that much about the church. But in these last few months I have grown so much. I didn’t think it was possible to be so far away from my family and love ones but still be so happy. Really it’s hard to put it into words the way I feel or the gratitude that I feel towards the Church and mostly to my Savior, my Lord, Jesus Christ. I feel closer to him then I have ever felt. I know that he loves us. I know that this is his church and this is his work. Every baptism that I have is not for me, but it’s for him. I KNOW with all my heart that He lives. That he was sent by our loving Heavenly Father, to suffer for our sins, to carry our pains, to give us an example, to give us hope, and to give us happiness. He is my Savior, my Redeemer, my light, my friend and my older brother. I know that he called Joseph Smith to be a prophet and that he guided him to the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Him. The words in that book have done so much for my life and for the lives of so many. I know that we have a prophet that guides us today; I don’t doubt it because I feel the love that he has for this work and for his master and teacher Jesus Christ. God lives and loves us. His son is are salvacion and are only hope back to our Father. Christ lives and this is his church and I am a missionary of his church!! What more could I ask for??? Family I love you all so much and I am soo happy that we will be together forever. Parents, you’re more than I could ever ask for, and I am truly the luckiest Elder alive. I thank you for everything!!! I love you all and hope you have a great week.

we are going to Guayaquil to listen to Richard G. Scott talk to us....
Hi what up fam??
Ok well I like getting letters every Monday and hearing how you all are doing. The only thing I don’t like doing is writing letters because I don’t know what to say. I don’t know why that is, it’s just kind of hard to write every week. But it’s cool!! I mean I love you guys I just don’t know. Ok so I also will make a few comments regarding the letter that you sent. Ok first thanks for the package that you’re going to send!! Thanks for the money that you’re going to give me because I am going to buy you all some sick gifts. lol ok so changing the subject so I am excited to see what changes they have made at Butte. I know that they were working on that when I left so I and see how things are going to be different. Man I love basketball, that’s one of the things that is hard to keep out of my mind when I think about home, which is not very often. lol ok so what can I tell you all about that happened this last week. ok so my comp got sick so on Saturday I passed the whole day sitting in the house but he is better now so we are working . lol but ya todo bien!! Another few gringos showed up to our ward this week so I was able to talk with them a bit. One of them served in Argentina where Taylor is at. Actually I am not sure if it’s the same mission as Taylor, but ya he was a really cool guys and spoke really good Spanish. He also majored in Spanish and worked 4 years in the MTC. He left the MTC as a worker one week after i got there to start my mission. But ya so hey I got this really good idea- so I have had the chance to talk with some returned missionaries about school and stuff and I have a really good idea. Well this is what some missionaries have done. I would like to keep studying Spanish when I get home. When I get home I can finish the Spanish classes that they have and then start studying for my major, taking the classes I need. For example, I’ll take history. I’ll take history classes in Spanish and I can work on two different careers at the same time. A gringo in my ward said that his son did that and this May he is graduating with 4 different majors. I don’t know if I am making any sense. But ya I just was thinking about that. Why not take advantage of the gift that the Lord has given me. Like studying two things. The gift of tongues that is. lol So what do you think??? Have you heard of that before?? I really like the idea. But I imagine I will have to look into it a lot more when I get home. But ya. Ok so we are still working away here in the sector. An old investigator showed up at church on Sunday and later that day said he wanted to get baptized so that was exciting. We are going to start working with him this week. We found some more peeps but we gotta see if they are interested. ok I just connected my camera so ill be sending some pics in another letter. I really can’t think of much more to say to you all. just know that i love you and miss you all. I am doing so good here in the mish. I am loving every minute! oh I don’t know if I told you this last week but Wednesday we are going to Guayaquil to listen to Richard G. Scott talk to us. So we are all excited about that. Hey I hope you all have a really good week and I will be talking to you all the next week. Love you all!!!
P.S. the pics i took just remind me of Joseph Smith video. lol this is a place in my sector that I really like. It is just really pretty there and peaceful. And the other pic is of me just being a G. lol crazy!!!

The church is true and I know it....
Hey fam!!!
Good day!!!! What’s new with you all??? So Ryan is just killing everyone in Frisbee!!!! I bet he just thinks he is all that!!! Well I hate to burst his bubble but in less than 3 months his winning days are over!!! The people here know me as the Frisbee KING. lol Wow Ryan and Melissa look a lot bigger in that pic- it is crazy!!! I still can’t believe that Julia is graduating next week. That just seems so hard for me to believe. My little girl is growing all up. Jordan is still just a pimp from what I got out of the phone call, but I think it’s time to calm down a little bit and get hitched. lol well that’s pretty much all I can say to that letter. lol oh mom that’s really cool that you got to visit the temple, really it’s one of the best experiences that someone can have. It’s such a calm place and peaceful. oh mom so I need to tell you something- so today the zone got together right and we all played basketball and ultimate Frisbee. but the things was I didn’t have shoes that worked to run in because the basketball shoes that I brought with me had parts falling off and there were holes in the shoes to the point that it hurt me to walk in them and I could put my finger through the holes. So what I did was take out 40 bucks and bought a new pair. Mom really I needed them because in the morning I want to run and shoot hoops but I didn’t have shoes to play in. so I bought these ones. If you want mom you can take it out of my birthday money it’s just that I was dying. lol the thing that suck is that they don’t have my size here in this country right!!! so I spent an hour looking around for my size but the biggest I could find was like 10 and those were cheap but when they were like 12 they were like 100 and more. Really I couldn’t find my size and all I wanted was a cheap pair to last me 3 months, but I couldn’t find a cheap pair my size so I got these ones for 40. The good thing is I like them and I will bring them after the mish to use at home. They are Airwalks. But I think maybe I’ll send you guys a pic next week of my new shoes. You know how I like my shoes. lol i don’t want you guys to go broke because I am in Ecuador just spending all this money. lol but then again you guys seem to have a lot of money since I left. lol new tv, new computer, going to buy a wii. lol you do you want to know what my opinion is on the new Wii??? BUY THE THING!!!! I am going to need a way to get back in shape when I get home and why not the Wii!! lol just playing, but really, buy it. I am very supportive of this new Keables life. lol ok so what else can I tell you all about? Ok hey so we have someone that should be getting baptized this next week that is coming, on the 28 I think. So if you could, can you all keep Dani Veronica in your prayers? If you can that would be great. We are working hard right now but it’s been a little bit difficult. But we are excited for her because she seems like she really likes the church. We are still looking for new people that will be more interested. So I’ll let you know how the rest of our investigators are doing later. Ok well I really don’t know that else to write you about. Anyway, fam and friends I love you all. I just want you all to know that I am loving the mission still. It really is the best 2 years. The church is true and I know it. Love you all very much and miss you all. Have a great week and will be talking soon. As in next week. lol much love,
Elder Keables- from this guy!!!
